Welcome to Stanley’s
Stanley’s Cup and Grill is named after my grandpa Stanley, who was one of the most important people in my life. He had been a season ticket holder for the Blues since they first came to St. Louis in 1967. Starting when I was two years old, my grandparents Stan and Harriet took me to every game I could go to, and even took me to the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
My relationship with my Grandpa was much more than the Blues though. He taught me many life lessons throughout my childhood. He was so sweet and caring, but when he had a stern talk with me, I knew I messed up. He was my best friend and I was able to talk to him about everything. I would not be the person I am today without his impact on my life. He passed away in 2010, but he is always with me, and I know he will be looking down at Stanley’s with his classic smile, proud of everything we have accomplished.
So come on in for cold beer, hot food, and a St. Louis neighborhood atmosphere. Let’s raise a glass to Grandpa Stan & the Stanley Cup
